By agreeing to join IHO’s Loyalty Program, you will be agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions stated below:
I hereby apply to be a member of IHO's Loyalty Program and the information I provide to the IHO Loyalty Program will namely enable IHO to:
(a) keep track of my purchase records,
(b) allocate points according to my purchase records,
(c) update me periodically about IHO's sales program through which I may earn loyalty points, and,
(d) update IHO's profiling of customer preferences so that IHO may be able to serve consumers better.
I also consent to:
(a) IHO's collection and use of the data required by IHO's Loyalty Program application form, and,
(b) the IHO Loyalty Program terms and conditions set out below, and to IHO’s data protection parameters set out, and,
(c) IHO sharing the same information within IHO's group of companies and it's partner that are established worldwide, for the purposes stated above.
IHO LOYALTY PROGRAM TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. IHO Loyalty Card can be obtained in the IHO office or website only. It is personal and non-transferable.
2. All accumulated points will expire for dormant accounts - without any completed bookings upto 12 months
3. Your application herein will not be valid and cannot be stored in our computer file if the information provided on the membership registration form is incomplete and/or illegible, thereby rendering it unusable. IHO reserves the right to change at any time the conditions for issuing of the IHO Loyalty program membership.
4. The IHO loyalty program membership allows the holder, upon presentation of it, to earn points at IHO. (100 INR spent = 1 point, 2 USD spent = 1 point.) In case of flight bookings, a maximum of 250 points can be earned per flight PNR travelled.
5. IHO Loyalty Cards are not and shall not be used by you as payment cards. The loyalty points accumulated by you cannot be transferred to any other customer nor exchanged for cash.
6. You may check your IHO Loyalty Program points accumulated by you by sending a request on loyalty@indianholidayoptions.com
7. IHO reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions and/or suspend the IHO Loyalty Program. In the event of such modification and/or suspension, IHO will notify its members via email or postal mailing, as well as communicate this on our website. Customers will not receive any compensation from IHO in the event of modification or suspension of the IHO Loyalty Program.
8. Customers who require IHO to delete the Customer's data from IHO's database will forthwith lose any and all loyalty points accumulated by the Customer in that database and/or linked to his or her IHO Loyalty Card, and such Customer must surrender his or her IHO Loyalty Card forthwith upon the deletion of customer's data from IHO's database.
9. Points will be awarded only on tour booking of tour packages, Hotel Accomodation and Flights. No points will be awarded on booking of only day tours or activities, visa processing, events, etc.
10. Redemption of reward points will be subject to maximum of 5% of the booking amount (excluding taxes and air fares).
11. Refer and earn points will be awarded only when the referred member makes his/her first booking.
12. In case, any fake registrations are noticed, IHO reserves the right to deleting the reward points awarded to the member as well as the points awarded to the referral for the same and can also terminate the member's account.
13. IHO reserves the right to terminate the member's account at any point of time without disclosing the reason whatsoever.
14. In the event of any mismatch in the records the decision made by the IHO staff/team shall be the final decision.
15. The Loyalty Discount does not apply to airfares or any additional travel arrangements booked in conjunction with the tour.
16. It applies to the individual traveller and not to other people on the same booking (unless they also qualify for the discount).
17. It cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer unless specified and is subject to tour availability.
18. Standard booking conditions apply.
19. The offer is for new bookings only and cannot be applied retrospectively, so please indicate whether you’ve travelled with us before when booking your trip. And incase you wish to use any points on the booking then it should be explicitely mentioned by the member at the time of booking.
20. Single day trips and Urban Adventures do not count as separate trips.
21. The Loyalty program shall not be valid on the special, corporate, social tours and events.
22. IHO reserves the right to:
(a) permanently disable or suspend the IHO Loyalty Program and/or IHO Loyalty Card, in the event of fraud or attempted fraud by the Customer at any IHO stores and/or it's websites.
(b) terminate the IHO Loyalty Program for any reason whatsoever by informing members via email/mail as well as on our website.
(c) In the case of a termination and/or suspension of the IHO Loyalty Program, IHO will NOT be liable to members for unused points.
23. IHO shall not be liable for any system malfunction, system failure or disruption in access to the IHO Loyalty Program, or any consequences, direct or indirect, arising from the same.
24. IHO may at appropriate time and at its sole discretion revise these Terms & Conditions of use at any time by amending this page. Members are therefore advised to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes IHO has made. Members understand and agree that any use of the IHO Loyalty Program after the date on which the Terms & Conditions have changed are subject to the amended Terms & Conditions.
IHO DATA PROTECTION PARAMETERS
1.IHO collects data from and about its Customers who join its IHO Loyalty Program only for the following purposes:
(a) to keep track of member's purchase records;
(b) to allocate points according to member's purchase records;
(c) to up-date members about IHO's sales programs (eg. promotions, news, brand offerings etc) through which members may earn loyalty points;
(d) to up-date our profiling of member's preferences so that we may tailor our products and services to serve customers/members better;
2. IHO may from time to time, share such data collected with related companies within the IHO group of companies & it's partners only. In this context, IHO may also transfer the such data outside the territory of the residence's country for the purposes mentioned in clause 1 above but only to the Recipients. The recipients of the Data (hereafter and above “the Recipients”) can be:
(a) IHO’s employees,
(b) IHO’s providers who need to have access to the Data in order to execute their obligations and deliver their services,
(c) IHO’s group companies & it's partners.
3.IHO does not guarantee the accuracy of data collected by IHO from its Customers. Customers who wish to scrutinize, amend or delete data relating to him or her, may do so by mailing us at info@indianholidayoptions.com
4.Subject to clauses 5 and 6 below, IHO will not disclose Customers' data to any third party,
5.IHO will protect Customers' data for whichever is the earlier of the following:
(a) a period of 100 years after Customer's record is first created in IHO's database records; or
(b) a period of 20 years after the death of a Customer.
However, if a person is no longer member of the IHO Loyalty Program for any reason whatsoever, IHO may delete Customer's data from the database earlier.
6.IHO shall be entitled to disclose customers/members' data to only the following:
(a) IHO's solicitors for purposes of legal advice, settlement of dispute or litigation to protect IHO's interest;
(b) IHO’s affiliate or subcontractors that managed IHO’s Loyalty Program;
(c) Persons involved in collecting a debt owed by that customer/member to IHO;
(d) Persons identified in a Court subpoena in compliance with any Court subpoena;
(e) Any government institution who has made a lawful request for such data;
(f) To a statistician for scholarly or research purposes; or
(g) Where such disclosure is required by law.
7.IHO reserves the right to delete completely specific Customers' data from IHO's database in the event that the said Customers' membership in IHO's Loyalty Program is terminated and/or the said Customers' IHO Loyalty Card is cancelled or terminated for any reason whatsoever. IHO reserves the right to delete all Customers' data in its database in the event that the IHO Loyalty Program is terminated for any reason whatsoever.
